still feeling wiped out
I guess that makes sense, but I feel a bit stressed that I am not operating at 100% efficiency, on top of missing a day's work, on top of being really busy.
It seems that (according to my body) massive dental work is the equivalent of minor surgery. I am not in significant pain or unable to eat or anything concrete like that, I just feel exhausted. Totally, completely drained.
Wish I had nothing planned for this evening, although what's on the agenda is my book club meeting, which is pretty low-stress. Actually, maybe it's better that I have that planned, otherwise I'd feel obligated to go the gym and I'd probably pass out and hit myself in the head with a 7.5-pound weight (or vice versa).
Also fretting about working at home tomorrow, since I didn't get to talk to my coworker L yesterday, and she isn't in the office today. But dammit, I do have a right to take a sick day occasionally, and it's not my fault that she only works three days a week, and it was part of the deal when I took this job that I could work at home at least one day a week. Blah, blah...
