My journal is called JA speaks because I couldn't think of anything really clever.

My subtitle is eclectic ramblings because eclectic is one of my favorite words to describe myself positively, and rambling is pretty much how I see what I do on my LJ.

My friends page is called such cool people I know because I genuinely am impressed with you all. Really. I am proud and awestruck. Whatever do you see in me?

My username is jafitz because I didn't think it through. It is my most common user ID, and the root name of my web home page. But I always mean to use "jafitz" for business stuff and "jaeclectic" for personal stuff, and instead it's all mixed up.

My default userpic is a picture that shows off my hair and one of my tattoos, because it's recognizably me if you know me, but somehow more private than showing my face. I guess I was influenced by the pic choices of my very first LJ friends (eac and jgcr) which are similarly recognizable yet cryptic. Also, of course, my hair and my tattoos are physical attributes of which I can be reliably vain.
