Hawai'i pictures...

...finally up, here

Now that I've got the content of the travel section up to date, I guess I should work on some less frivolous aspect of my web site, like improving my portfolio page, or maybe even tackling the long overdue architectural update...

accomplishment for the day...

Managed to get BreakingStory (AKA the Master's project) back up and running.

Apropos of nothing, did I mention that my new business cards showed up?
I like them. Minimalist yet stylish, if I do say so myself. Much more satisfying than the old lame ones. Now I just need some reason to give one to somebody.

not that anyone was wondering

After toying with the daydream since last April, and even telling some people that I planned (or at least hoped) to go, I have just concluded that my going to CHI in Vienna this year is probably not going to happen.

That's the bad news. The good news is, I get to figure out what I'm going to do with those frequent flyer miles instead.

best wacky statement...

...that I've found on the internet lately:

"Since it is a well-known fact that the entire history of the world is embedded in the decimal expansion of "pi"..."

The page also says that Al Gore is The Beast and goes on to explain that WWW is equivalent to 666, and well, you know, this whole internet thing is a sign.

And, oh by the way, the world was supposed to end in 1998.
