I'm sorry you couldn't make it, it would have been great to see you. But I do understand you are juggling a awful lot right now, and it sounds like things have been particularly intense on this particular weekend. Let's plan to get together when that thesis is done...
[Aside: I wish I could give blood. I used to be a regular blood donor, but since I lived in England, blood banks in the US don't want me anymore. But regardless, I do remember that it is tiring -- the silly but accurate way to say it is that it's "draining" -- so do try to take it a little easy today.]
Yes, February will be a month of much rejoicing and gettings togetherings, I assure you. I may have to go live in Europe just to get out of donating blood. Since I'm O+, the blood bank calls me every 8 weeks to the day when I last donated. And if I can't make it, they keep calling me and calling me, these people are out for...Doh!
