ho hum, and fiddle dee dee

jaeclecticThings had picked up Thurs & Fri of last week, but now I am back to staring at my to-do list and trying to find something, anything, that is not one or all of the following:
- waiting for feedback or don't really have enough information to start
- it might not make the cut of priorities, depending on who my boss turns out to be
- so huge that it makes no sense to start it when I only have a few day left in my current contract (to be followed by a break of at least 2-1/2 weeks, maybe more, possibly never coming back)
In addition to the guilt that I feel for not being my usual SuperWorker in terms of productivity, I also have this weird guilt for complaining about being bored when some of my friends are run ragged and barely fitting in eating and sleeping (you know who you are).
But, you know, it's one of those baby-bear just-right things, except that I'd rather lean a little toward the too-busy side rather than the too-idle side.
As an aside, occasionally I wonder whether it is a bad idea to say anything about work in public posts, because what if somebody from work read this? On the other hand, if I lock it down, hardly anyone can read it, so why bother blogging at all? I guess I just need to remember to be polite (i.e., avoid calling anyone a poodle ;)
