Just updated the little spreadsheet / chart where I have been tracking my weight (weekly) since last May when I started Weight Watchers -- and I dropped below 185 for the first time this week.
Considering that my starting point last May was 206, this is great. Considering that my weight in May 2000 before I left PA was 160, this is not exactly all I might desire. Considering that my weight has been bouncing between 185 and 190 since late November, this is a great relief.
I { believe | hope | insist } that I have broken through that particular barrier and will drop a bit more now, not bounce up again.
My main worry is that as things change in my work situation (which they are bound to, one way or another), it may be hard to keep up my current pace of exercise. Which I really want to, not only for the weight loss aspect, but because I am enjoying it, the endorphins do me good, plus if I'm actually going to go trekking I need to get into better condition...
