jaeclecticAfter several days of trouble-free operation, I made the strategic error of downloading some software to my computer, at which point the blue screen of death re-appeared.
And why was I so foolish, you may ask? Because my (almost new) iPod shuffle stopped taking a charge, and I vaguely hoped that updating its software would fix it. Mind you, rebooting the computer may have been all I needed to do, since the iPod appears to be recharging now (while I restore my C: drive for the nth time).
I did go browsing at the Mac store with Cartan the other day. I must say, the powerbooks are very slick. (OTOH, I did find out that I'll have a laptop at work, which makes acquisition of a laptop of my very own rather less urgent.)
