jet lag...
Nov. 8th, 2003 07:33 am...playing games with my brain. Thursday night, slept beautifully & long and was semi-coherent for my visit w/ Barbara yesterday. Then, this AM, popped awake at 4:30, gave up and got up at 6:30, now 7:30 AM. Naturally, ML & Jo are still sleeping, so I am just entertaining myself here -- I should have known ML would have DSL!
I have already washed my hair and repacked my suitcase, ready to hit central London for a day of museum-hopping -- my agenda is to drop the luggage at Victoria Station, then hit the National Portrait Gallery (for their show of portraits of servants!) then the Tate Modern, since I've been told it's worth going just for the walk across the bridge & the view from the cafe...
Then to & fro on the underground to retrieve luggage and catch the train to Grays, in time for "tea" with Neil & Ann. Tomorrow need to be up at o-dark-hundred since they are taking me to France. So maybe this will work out perfectly, if I can manage fall asleep early tonight...
