grumble mumble

OK, I shouldn't really complain, and there are worse problems to have, et cetera et cetera.

But I sure wish someone around here would come up with some work that I could actually do right now as opposed to just making plans for all the great stuff we're going to do next year, interspersed with complaining about the things we can't do because of some dependency on something out of our control.

I just hate being bored. (And yes, I feel guilty that I am not being productive to my usual standards.)

My boss at (W) used to just sigh and shake his head at me and say "Why can't you just enjoy it? you know it isn't going to last!" whenever I complained about not having enough to do. But I somehow couldn't, and I still can't...
