unfair

Woke up early, slight headache, knee hurts (so use of the time for extended exercise is probably a bad idea), and I sure don't want to go to work early today.

I guess I can surf the web, but I would rather be sleeping.


And did I mention that lately I wake up thinking about work? I am not convinced this is a good sign.

Actually, in my dream this AM I was on the phone talking about work, but I didn't know it was a conference call, and I jolted awake when The Guy suddenly spoke. Pretty droll, don't you think?

The headache went away as I drank my coffee (yay, caffeine). Then it was actually nice to be able to take my time, enjoyed the walk to the BART station despite twinging knees, indulged in pleasant daydreams and smiled at strangers.

Just wanted you all to know I'm not always cranky...

p.s. not that I think the wording is exactly perfect, since it could be misinterpreted to mean "marriage is the only right way to love" which is certainly not what I mean. But hey, we are all in context here, right?
