unfair

Rain. I can't believe after weeks of unseasonably dry summery weather, on the day I move it is going to rain.

my first thought: I am doomed

As you may recall, just after I rented the apartment in SF, before actually having moved in, while in the stage of taking things by car -- indeed, more or less the situation in which I find myself now -- my old car died a spectacular death in the middle of the Bay Bridge.
