Yesterday, had that special moment that happens every year, when I thought "holy heck, it's almost thanksgiving, how did that happen? ... and geez, I ought to be thinking about xmas shopping".

I have a functional oven now, I'd be willing to buy a turkey in collaboration with someone who knows how to cook one :)
