I wrote a long, rambling, mega-whiney post earlier, then threw it away. Because I can't even start without going too far.

I took a calculated risk, and lost the bet.

Just wanted to say that, because it keeps going through my head.

Just got a package from K&K containing a very sparkly gift-wrapped something.
Also, two xmas cards from friends in PA.
Maybe the holidays don't totally, utterly, 100% suck, after all.
