Left Tahoe early-ish this AM in the hope of evading the incoming winter storm. Therefore managed to avoid finding out whether the snow chains I bought will really fit the Mini, and instead drove through torrential rain from Sacramento to SF.

Good weekend overall. Took one skiing lesson, and to my surprise actually did remember a little from my one previous lesson 4 years ago -- only did my beached whale imitation 3 or 4 times, and hardly even cried.

Other than that: I learned how to play cribbage. And we all drank a lot. The snow was very pretty, and the hot tub was hot.
