another day, another airplane (or two)

I did not sleep very well last night -- woke up every hour or so drowning in phlegm and had to sit up to spit. Although probably not actually caused by the bottle of wine I drank in the evening, I doubt that helped (one of the numerous reasons why drinking an entire bottle of wine by myself can be considered unwise).

OTOH, I did *enjoy* my evening, consisting as it did of the aforementioned bottle of wine, a rather nice dinner from room service, fiddling with the laptop, and reading (a Kage Baker novel). All done barefoot and wearing sweats, ahh!

Now I am waiting for my pre-ordered room service breakfast, which will probably be way too much food. Took a decongestant and am already feeling the twitch (as usual, side effects outperforming main effects by a wide margin, *sigh*) I've got an hour or so to absorb some food, finish packing, pop down to the ATM for a little more Canadian cash, check out, and catch a taxi to the airport, after which the real tedium will ensue.
