another night, another hotel room

jaeclecticArrived in Pgh uneventfully. Ears still a bit clogged but didn't have severe pain on this leg, so I guess the additional dose of decongestant helped.
I'm in a hotel room with a little fridge and microwave (in addition to free internet access, yay!), so I ventured out to the nearby "Super K-Mart" and bought some snacks (although I'm not feeling hungry right now) and some Nyquil (which I just took a dose of).
Having accomplished that much, I now have nothing to do (nothing that has to be done) until tomorrow afternoon, when I'll venture the 20 miles or so to my Dad's place. It is actually kind of a shame that I am not feeling perkier, because there are other people in Pgh I'd like to look up (e.g. Alessandro) but right now I'm not counting on having any energy to spare.
Aside: Looking at the map just now, I realized that this place is actually closer to my Dad's than I'd thought. I think of the airport in terms of downtown Pgh, but it turns out that going through downtown is not at all the direct way from here to there.
