OK, a little better

In case you were wondering (or just yearning for a respite from my unrelenting negativity), the litany of (diminishing) woes:

- I still feel like maybe I'm on the verge of a head cold, but don't actually feel sick.
- I am still having trouble sleeping because I lie down and my brain won't stop, but I'm not on the verge of hysteria all day long.
- I am mildly worried that getting my new place set up the way I want is going to be absurdly expensive, but I am not actually panicking that I won't be able to figure out what to do.
- And I am sad about leaving The City, but also thinking about things that will be more convenient when I'm living back in the East Bay.

So anyway... worked at home again today -- once again exceeding my threshold for time at home alone (but the kitties were pleased). Then went to the gym for the first time in a week, felt pretty good, we'll see how I feel tomorrow. Now spending some time sketching furniture layouts...

Yes, I am believing that it will be cool, I hope cool enough to be worth the effort!

In any case, I tend to be happier with myself when I take some risks -- and I think this qualifies ;)

Thanks for the good wishes... wouldn't say the day has turned out great, but I'm grateful the weekend has arrived.

And yes, they say "even good things can be stressful" but we could turn it around and say "even stressful things can be good". And I believe this will be...
