jaeclecticLandlord had open house today, has rented the apartment for 100$ more than I've been paying. So I guess I was correct in my estimation that it was not actually priced high for the market!
Anyway this is a good thing, since I will not have to worry about more showings, and perhaps there will not be much fuss about the security deposit (she says cautiously but optimistically).
Relieved about that, still a bit tired and at moments pensive, but overall feeling cheerier.
