weekend stuff

jaeclecticI didn't really notice how tiring the past week was, until I hit the weekend and found myself bleary and hypersensitive (e.g., starting to tear up because the clerk at the post office was sympathetic).
Hopefully today will *not* feel too jam-packed. Of course this depends on how much I try to fit in, e.g. to gym or not to gym?
Things that are worrying me at the moment:
- The flooring guys seem to have decided not to work the weekend after all (unless they are there now) which means that may still be going on Tuesday, when several other things are (hopefully) going to be happening at the condo. More chaos! Whee?
- I need to call Alexis and tell him that I am going to seal the grout myself. Which is not a big deal, except that I just feel anxious about it. Silly me.
- In order to have the aforementioned grout sealing happen before movers and/or cats need to walk on the kitchen floor, I probably should do it today (which I am not especially enthused about).
Good things about the weekend so far:
- L&N helped me fetch the gardening stuff (large pots etc) that had been stored over at their place, so it is now on my new patio (albeit not organized in any coherent way. We got everything except the plants, which I figured were better to defer until next weekend.
- Went to the Parkway yesterday evening and saw Pirates 2. Brain candy! Eye candy! with a side order of pizza and beer! Yay!
Mixed lot:
- T46 dinner was OK. One guy was extremely flirty (to some extent with all the women, a bit more so with me, perhaps just because I was sitting next to him). Sadly, I did not find him interesting, but there is a certain level of consolation in having someone, anyone, at least see me that way.
Onward.
