jaeclecticI was going to watch a movie this evening, to chill out after my stressful day.
But my DVD player has stopped working. I had some trouble a few days ago, but thought it was the specific DVD. Now it is failing to load *any* DVD.
So instead I spent the past two hours buying a new DVD player online. Or, to be more precise, trying to make an informed decision about which DVD player to buy. Reading reviews. Trying to understand the names of features. Trying to find an item with reasonably good reviews, that doesn't have a bunch of features I don't need. Trying to decide if I should just buy another really cheap one and think of it as disposable, or if I should get one that might last more than two years.
And eventually just throwing a dart and hoping for the best.
Bah. So there's another two hours of my life gone...
