update for the sake of updating

Back to being fairly calm about the job situation, just feeling vaguely guilty & anxious because I am still more focused on unpacking rather than job-hunting, and, you know, I should get my act together.

The aforementioned unpacking proceeds at what seems a snail's pace, but as jgcr reminded me yesterday, it has not even been a week yet so I could maybe be just a tiny wee bit more patient with myself & the whole process.

And the new place is truly very cool, and I think I'm going to like it a lot, although I feel strangely superstitious about saying so, as though I'll jinx it.

And the cats like it. Which is what really matters, right? ;)
