Although I do my best to not get sucked into following certain kinds of news stories, of which the Reiser murder trial has been a case in point, nevertheless I am semi-fascinated as well as mildly creeped out by the fact that her body was buried in Redwood park where I frequently hike, probably a couple hundred feet from one of my favorite trails.

Update: More specifically, it was at least 40 yards from one of my favorite trails...
