I am definitely feeling discouraged by the response to my housewarming evite: The number of positive responses just declined from 12 to 11. Several people that I would really have liked to be there have conflicts. And a couple of people I really hoped to see have not responded.

Fooey.

Oh well, small parties can be good. The dinner party I gave a few weeks ago was great with 9 or 10 people there. I just hope I don't get a dribble of people coming and going, so that only 2 or 3 people are there at any one time.

At least my period started today, so I should be over the pale, exsanguinated, doubled over with cramps parts by tomorrow. Although the pimply part may not pass that quickly.
