better (work stuff)

jaeclecticThe presentation this afternoon went far better than expected -- despite my co-worker having added about 20 unnecessary slides.
And one of the people at the meeting (coincidentally a lovely man with a beautiful Scottish or Irish accent, you would think I could tell the difference, but no matter, either one basically makes my knees melt) wants to meet on Friday to talk more about the best way to organize access to the various forums related to a specific product -- which when I type it, sounds pretty dull, but actually it's wonderful to find someone who is interested in talking about the problems that I've been working on, as opposed to just figuring stuff out in a vacuum and then waiting for people to complain if I don't get it right...
And the fact that he's eye (and ear) candy is just an extra special bonus :)
This is the kind of moment that makes me hope that I will get to continue working on forums, rather than getting involved with some other project (and much rather than being unemployed next year).
