jaeclecticManaged to get a few things done today. Including more than half of the xmas cards. Yay!
Kept ice on the lower back for a couple of hours, hopefully that will be sufficient...
Also, put xmas lights on various large houseplants. It looks festive, and presumably quirky. Also, the new star lights that I bought at IKEA work perfectly on the loft window. I mean, just perfectly: the strands of lights are precisely the right length, and they hang from little plastic hooks that exactly fit the metal window frame. I should have gotten five sets. (OK, not really, just kidding.)
Made a start at hanging other ornaments, on the houseplants and the wire shelves, but I am fading fast now. Literally can hardly keep my eyes open. Note to self: glögg hangover is subtle but enormously powerful.
