not all bad
Dec. 21st, 2004 10:35 amMy boss Jose decided we should have "mandatory fun" in lieu of a group meeting yesterday. After some debate about ice skating (which I would have loved to do, if only my knees were behaving, but didn't think was a wise idea just now), we ended up going for a hike -- half a dozen of us altogether, including the fabulous Sarah W and the incomparable John Cartan. We all piled into Dana's huge SUV, drove around lost for a while, and eventually found our way to Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park where we rambled for an hour, stretching our legs and idly chatting.
Then came back to the office in time for cookies and more conversation at one of the other UE group's open house.
So, you see, things aren't all bad. These people I'm working with, I really like them.
Update: courtesy of John, photographic evidence (L to R: Sarah, Jason, JA, Jose, Dana)
