jeffmcneill, informing me: 1) Jeff's travelling in Thailand, and no one had heard from him; and then half an hour later 2) He's OK, coincidentally was up in the mountains although he could just as easily have been on the coast.
It never occurred to me that I had anyone to be personally worried about.
(Also interesting that this person found me via LJ. There may be hazards to having a transparent internet identity, but here we see the benefit.)
