A compilation of first lines from first posts from every month last year:

1. I was going to imitate Wanda's post with the list of questions, but when I tried to come up with answers, it just reinforced how little really happened in my life in 2003.

2. Left Tahoe early-ish this AM in the hope of evading the incoming winter storm.

3. I am actually sick.

4. Back to being fairly calm about the job situation, just feeling vaguely guilty & anxious because I am still more focused on unpacking rather than job-hunting, and, you know, I should get my act together.

5. As noted previously, K&K were in town for Kristin ("Quoted in Forbes") the Master Taxgrrll's graduation.

6. I am trying to prepare for a meeting at Sun later in the week.

7. Things are good, have had a busy and pleasant week.

9. It is very pleasant to be feeling optimistic about getting a job offer soon, even if thinking about it did keep me awake for a while last night...

10. I myself did better than I expected, through the magic of multiple-choice (e.g., I don't really know exactly where Argentina is, but I know it's in South America, and I know the really big one is Brazil, and in this test that's enough to get the right answer).

11. Despite intimations of a sinus infection, I did get mildly costumed (black wig plus undead makeup that was apparently way too subtle) and head into The City for Halloween.
