I seem to be suffering some mild, California-esque variant of seasonal affective disorder. In that I have been craving sunlight, and feeling pleased when the sun shines, and disappointed when it's overcast. All of which is not really like me, I am more liable to associated direct sun with sunburn pain. And I know that last summer I specifically loved foggy mornings, because otherwise it got too hot in the apartment.

In any case, the rainy season is almost gone, and then no doubt I shall revert to my typical vampiric tendencies.

Vampiric Tendancies

Speaking of vampiric tendencies you must rush out and purchase Patrick Califia's latest novel "Mortal Companion." It will satisfy your vampire fetishism and much, much more. The writing is superb. The story is engaging and the sex, well, let's say that it's not your typical vanilla sex although there is that too. And it's guaranteed to please everyone at some point regardless of your gender preference. It covers man to man, woman to woman, woman to man and vice versa, groups, vampires and mortals, vampires and vampires, group scenes, play parties, anonymous encounters, coming without direct physical touch, violent physical touch, etc., etc., etc. Quite compelling and published by the fabulous boys Greg Wharton & Ian Philips at www.suspectthoughtsppress.com. You can purchase it on line at their site as well. Highly recommended for one and all (okay maybe not mom).
