minor gripe
Mar. 18th, 2005 11:40 amWhy is it that although the UPS notice has a place to show estimated time of delivery, UPS drivers do not ever seem to check one of those boxes? Could it be because UPS and all its competitors make their real money from large commercial customers, and the convenience of their service for residential customers is not a significant nor a differentiating factor?
And therefore, I can't go for a walk because if I do I'll surely miss the delivery (of my ipod shuffle, for improved workout soundtrack goodness).
Oh well, it's raining anyway. I'm just getting cranky because I'm bored.
Update: it's an hour+ later, proving that the inverse was also true (I didn't go for a walk, therefore UPS didn't come, AKA Murphy is always watching).
