crush update

So I did work up my nerve.

I had a work-related email to send him, nothing urgent. And since he is also a contractor, and knew about the nail-biting situation with my contract, I also let him know that Sun did get their act together to hire me again next year.

and I tacked on a p.s. saying:
If you're around over New Year's, give me a call. I will happily buy you a drink and we can toast full employment in 2004 ;)

to which he replied:
OK will do - I should be in SF during the Holiday's and fully intend to drink copious amounts of Merlot!

Now I guess I just have to wait, and hope he really does call me...

*dreamy sigh*
