lethargy can be nice

I am really glad to be done with work for the year (despite some less than pleasant financial implications).

I am really glad that my contract has been renewed, and that I don't have to get serious about job-hunting, and that the above-mentioned financial implications are a lot less serious than actual unemployment.

I am really glad that I have the whole day tomorrow to get packed, clean the house, find maps, et cetera, et cetera.

I am really glad that I will be seeing Kris and Karen this weekend, and also glad that I will be seeing my Dad, and my sister and her kids, and other friends in Pgh and DC.

I am really glad that when I get home from the trip I will have most of a week to just chill and hang out with the kitties.

And right at this moment, I am really really glad that I don't absolutely have to do anything at all right now.
