My LJ friends list has been quite silent this weekend. Either you are all busy doing wonderful, fabulous holiday stuff -- or you all fled the country without telling me.

Heh! I've been recovering from working 41 hours in 4 days, plus the hour commute to and from work. Just not used to that anymore.
I might desire to be social tonight or tomorrow, but at the moment, I'm still in hibernation.

I hear you. I'm feeling pretty lethargic myself. But I might manage to drag myself out of the house for fireworks tonight, perhaps we could hook up if you're feeling social by then :)

I'm not such a weekend lj-er. I managed to spend my whole yesterday doing house stuff even though I had grand beach plans. Then today was all Crucible volunteering. Now super tired! Maybe tomorrow I'll revive the beach plans. Did you hike today? If you were going tomorrow I might offer my company (if you can stand to hike with company -- I am a talker).

But no, no fabulous anything -- unless you count hanging the knife rack and cleaning the shower (still smelling Tilex).

Hmm. A new knife rack might barely qualify as fabulous, but cleaning the shower, definitely not.

I did hike yesterday, at length, so today shall be a little more low-key. Perhaps a walk around Lake Merritt at some point... In general, I am not averse to having company on hikes, so we should do that sometime :)

Going to the beach does sound extremely fabulous, something I always think I should do more often than I do (although today I am pretty determined to hide from the sun all day, so I am not tempted right at this moment). In any case, I hope you are already there, even as I type!
