waking up to grim news

jaeclecticWoke up this AM to the news about bombings in London -- not quite as intense, but otherwise quite reminiscent of waking up the AM of 11 Sept 2001.
Sent an email to various friends in the UK, heard back right away from Ann (who lives in Essex, about 15 miles from London) but not yet from ML or Barbara (who live in London proper), or from various other folks who don't live near London but still might have been there just by chance.
Esp. worried about ML's Jo, he is an MBA/finance kind of guy and probably works in the part of London that was hit.
I suppose I shouldn't fret, but I can't help it.
