not exactly ready to roll
Aug. 25th, 2005 09:16 pmBusy week. Busy day at work, capped by packing up my office (because the company is moving to a new building, all of a block away from the current location, over the weekend). Considered skipping the gym but when I checked the traffic, it was going to take me well over an hour to get home, so I figured I'd be better off spending the time sweating instead of sitting in my car. Then came home and called N to discuss cat-sit-swapping details, and had a nice long chat, since we hadn't spoken in weeks, maybe a couple of months.
The upshot of all that being: It's after nine, and I've barely started packing.
I have, on the other hand, printed out lots of maps and hiking info.
I would so love to collapse now. But probably another 20 minutes of throwing things into a suitcase would be a better idea, since I want to leave the house reasonably early.
*sigh*
p.s. In case I have omitted essential context: this is packing for a weekend trip to Sequoia National Park, to do some hiking at high altitude, in preparation for the trip to Peru which is 16 Sept.
