off to Tahoe

jaeclecticFeeling much calmer today.
Worked at home this AM, theoretically a 1/2 day, but only billing 2 hours because I was doing dishes and last-minute packing in between. Fortunately for my sanity (even if unfortunately for the project) the search meeting got postponed (again, as usual).
And the sun is shining, and the weather report for Tahoe doesn't sound horrible, and there are no traffic restrictions reported for US-50... and I should be on the road by 12:45, with any luck at all will get past Sacramento well before rush hour and arrive in South Lake Tahoe before dark.
But you know, I haven't started bleeding yet. And I really have been feeling pre-menstrual for two weeks. Yesterday I was absolutely sure it was starting.
I do not really want to think hard about what this implies.
