I should be grateful

Having recently read & sympathized with angel_boi's post about his job from hell, I am sitting here @ work with my stomach in a knot:

Because I care too much.

So it bothers me when people screw things up, and it bothers me that I have not been given any authority/control to prevent people from screwing things up, and that I end up trying to clean up the mess,

all the while thinking "they don't want to hire me, why should I even care, in a couple of months I'll be gone and they can f#$% it up any way they want to..."

But I do care, anyway. And I wouldn't really trade that for indifference & boredom.

But but but....
