weekend, yay!

jaeclecticThe week at work was OK, but I am glad it's over. Also glad for the 3-day weekend, although simultaneously a bit stressed about the amount of work to be compressed into next week's 4-day workweek.
I should be trying to tidy up some of the clutter around the apartment, in preparation for people actually seeing it tomorrow, but I am too tired to care.
For the record, I think the shindig tomorrow is likely to be fairly small and low-key, at least based on the number of RSVPs. I am not fretting excessively, just noting the fact.
Wow, it is not even 8:00 and I am sooo sleepy. That's just silly. Even so, perhaps it's a good evening to spend curled up in bed with a book (and the cats, of course).
