Home a little earlier than expected, which is really very good because I am totally wiped out. Obviously I am just not young and strong anymore, because 2 nights of heavy drinking and limited sleep really takes it out of me. Oh, plus a bit of high-altitude snow-shoeing. But I think the sleep deprivation is what's making me feel halfway between feverish and slightly stoned.

Anyway, it was a fabulous weekend, lots of giggles. A lot of Jen's friends from SIMS (oh sorry, I mean "The iSchool", feh) and one from Kaiser plus a couple of her older friends -- older in the sense of known-longer, I don't think anyone but me was older than Jen, which is to say everyone was a minimum of 10 years younger than me -- oh wait, I'm wrong, Joanna mentioned being 39 -- still, I was the ancient crone in the mix. Oddly, I think I enjoyed meeting the new people more than seeing the ones I already knew. Well, that's not quite accurate but I don't have the wordsmithing in me right now to correct it.

Note to self and ztepf: There is a proven correlation between me being gone overnight and my cats puking *everywhere*.

I shall now proceed to my agenda for the evening: wash hair, unpack, do something with all the fruit that didn't get eaten this weekend and is now over-ripe, snuggle with kitties, sleep in own bed for 9 hours...

You forgot to add to the list: clean up cat puke.

And if it makes you feel better -- two nights of sleeping on the floor, drinking, and not sleeping enough wipes me out too.

Believe it or not, I cleaned up the cat puke *before* getting on the computer :)

And I wasn't actually sleeping on the floor, just in a bunk in an unfamiliar room with 11 other people breathing, snoring, getting up to pee, etc. But thanks for the implication that I am not displaying undue weakness :)

Yeah, there was cat puke when Badger and I came over on Saturday, too. The kids got much lovins, cat nip and brushing, too!
