So I went to the Adaptive Path anniversary party, which was of course fun because: I got to chat with Indi, and say hello to PeterMe, and eat a free burrito, and drink two glasses of free wine, and dunk a strawberry into the chocolate fondue fountain, and admire all the hipsters & geeks & those sublime individuals who somehow manage to be both and let it show.
But the very best part was: When I walked up to Indi, she introduced me to the person she was talking to, who immediately said: "Oh, Jean-Anne! You worked on our project!". He was from AP's client company whose project I had worked on *over a year ago*, for just a couple of months. Yet he remembered my name, and my work, and said how excellent it had been, and that they still use the document I produced.
Wow.
