Things at work have still been busy this week, but not as frantic, and I am really close to being done with everything that needs to be done before vacation. This is rather satisfying.

Meanwhile, back at the life ranch, I went to the doctor this AM to get a referral to a dermatologist about this thingy that appeared on my elbow a few weeks ago. The good news is, she was able to state confidently that it is not melanoma, although it may be granuloma. The bad news is, it might be ringworm. Eewwww! So anyway, I'll be putting anti-fungal cream on my elbow for the next couple of weeks and seeing the dermatologist when I get back into town.

In other non-news, I finished work early enough yesterday to catch the early show at the Parkway of Transamerica. I liked it -- a sweet, feel-good movie with gender dysphoria.

Tonight, massage appointment. Tomorrow, chiropractic appointment & chores. Sunday: more chores, and pre-packing! must figure out probable weather in Pittsburgh and Montreal...

Heh, ringworm. I got it in college on my belly from a friend who used to help herself to my clothes. Yup, it's THAT contagious. I put the jock-itch ointment on it and it cleared up quickly enough, though it seemed to recur periodically (at which point I applied more goo) and eventually it abated. The good news is (as you know) it does not involve actual worms. Just *fungus*! Maybe you caught it from a hippie too!

Heh, indeed. I guess it's nice to know I'm in good company, if fungus is what it proves to be. Odd that my MD didn't seem to think I should worry about it being contagious -- maybe your hippie friend had an extra-virulent strain. I can't think of any hippies who've been groping my elbow, so who knows where it came from...
