pre-travel jitters

jaeclecticWell, got through the last workday before vacation. Basically got everything done, no major loose ends, yet I feel unsettled / unfinished. Also guilty because my colleague whose vacation also starts tomorrow is still working (or was when I last checked). But this too shall pass...
Weirdly, the work day included lunch with the CEO (and two other colleagues). No special reason apparently, he just likes to get to know people who work for the company. It was reasonably fun, in a mildly stressful kind of way.
Also: for an interval, was unduly stressed about the fact that I missed a UPS delivery, and also missed the window to have them hold it for pickup tonight -- eventually called to have it delivered to the office, which I (irrationally) hate doing with private packages, but c'est la guerre.
Meanwhile, I am home now, but: not packed, need to get cash, am probably forgetting something, et cetera. Therefore I shall step away from the computer now...
