dermatology, etc.
May. 2nd, 2006 06:52 pmThe dermatologist was very nice, surprisingly unintimidating. He said the thing on my elbow is definitely granuloma, not ringworm -- which I think I prefer: even though granuloma is kind of mysterious, at least I don't have to worry about it being contagious. And, you know, less ick factor (sorry, bulie!). He also said he could tell I'm careful about wearing sunscreen -- although he did also comment about the bumps on my forehead making me look older than I am -- talk about things I never would have thought to worry about!
So I get to switch from antifungal cream to steroid cream for a couple of weeks, and then go back in 3 months and see if it's grown. At which time he will also cut off the floppy mole on my back, yay!
Other than that: I got through most of my list of chores, and now wish I could just settle into the armchair with the kitties. Or perhaps even take a shot of nyquil and go directly to bed. But my book club meets tonight, and I feel obligated to go. At least it's just upstairs...
