Got a very long, quite interesting message from my potential {penpal|date|whatever}. He's been to Machu Picchu, and more recently Venezuela, and told me a bit about those trips; he's Hispanic and very leftist; he has a great vocabulary and flirts well in writing. So far so good.

I was very pleased that he included his email address, so I thought I wouldn't have to keep using the personals site, which is an OK site for what it is, but as an email client is somewhat lacking. Since I'm home sick and have not much else to do, I wrote a long reply, which I fired off and immediately got a bounce message:

The following addresses had permanent fatal errors
(reason: 554 delivery error: dd)
Sorry your message to {that guy} cannot be delivered. This account has been disabled or discontinued

*sigh*

So I've left him a short note at the personals site with my email address, and am back to waiting...
