The weekend was fairly lazy, really, but still not lazy enough. I endulged in thoroughgoing sloth on Saturday well into the afternoon. Finally pushed my way through vacuuming & laundry & groceries & etc. I kind of wanted to go to the Parkway and see The Notorious Betty Page, but felt obligated to finish the chores instead.

So instead I watched Schindler's List on DVD. This after watching The Notebook on Friday, which I didn't *know* was going to be a tearjerker although I suppose I should have guessed.

Sunday, I managed to get to the gym, went to open houses (nothing that I feel very excited about, although a couple units I should probably consider). At that point, I felt stupidly exhausted, but after an hour or so at home, I gathered enough energy to drive to the Target in Albany to buy a few essential household items (and of course a number of non-essentials, since I was there, e.g. Yet More DVDs).

Then called K&K and finagled a dinner invitation. We played a game of scrabble for the first time in eons, and as usual I got my ass whupped by Kris, although I did manage to tie Karen for second (only because she got stuck at the end with the Q).

All in all, a normal and fairly pleasant weekend. Just with a few intervals of unusual tiredness.

Then this AM, I just didn't want to get out of bed. Not at all, not at all. Spent much of the work day pressing a cold bottle of water against my sinuses and wishing I could be taking a nap instead. Through an act of extreme will-power, I stopped and got my bangs trimmed as I'd planned, instead of coming straight home. Now that I'm here, I hope I don't get a second wind, I really want to get to sleep early...

I thought I had more to say about today, but it has all leeched out of my brain.
