jaeclecticLet me just start by saying: A children's birthday party is happening right now on the courtyard underneath my windows. At least one child has been crying at any given moment for the past hour. Even when they were singing happy birthday.
It really has been a nice day, overall -- just a nice day with a pile o' stress lurking nearby.
I have gotten to the point of being 99.9% sure that I am not going to take the place on Orange, but am still nerving myself to make it official. Partly wishing I didn't have to face the whole temporary housing thing, even though I have at least one plan fairly well worked out. Partly -- and yes, I know this is silly -- dreading talking to my realtor about it. I have a feeling, probably paranoid, that he is fed up with me. *sigh*
Other than that, still quite perturbed about the sackings. I did see that one of my (still) co-workers added a very nice endorsement to the LinkedIn profile of my abruptly former co-worker, which was oddly comforting. Just a little affirmation of my reality...
Anyway. Tomorrow I must get moving early-ish for a T46 hike, then see how much energy I have for the chores that didn't get done today. (Vacuuming so overdue. *sigh again*)
