I may regret this in September...
Jun. 19th, 2006 05:16 pm...but I'm going to take a vacation day tomorrow. So that I can do all of the following, without stressing about the fact that I should be working:
- get enough sleep even after being out late (which I am certain to be tonight)
- go for a second look at the place on Perkins
- spend some time pondering above, e.g. planning furniture (an essential part of the decision-making process)
- go put in an application at the Lake Merritt Hotel, my current best temporary housing option
- drop in on L&N's kitties
- either clean up or mess up my apartment, depending on whether I decide to be unnecessarily polite or go with bulie's theory and be as passive-aggressive as possible (or just leave it as is, on the theory that when they only give me one day notice, they get what they get, and I shouldn't waste my energy worrying about it either way)
- spend the rest of the day thinking about real estate and/or sorting stuff that needs to be sorted before I move
I generally prefer to hoard my vacation days for travel, but I think this time it's a good call.
