The T46 event coordinator wasn't paying attention, and hadn't delegated anyone else to pay attention, and therefore we missed a turn, and hence the 6-mile hike turned into an 8-mile hike. Which I pretty much could have taken in stride (literally and figuratively) last summer, but I'm not in that condition now. So now I'm just a wee bit footsore...
Before coming home, I accomplished a stack of errands in and around Berkeley: bought vitamins at Elephant Pharmacy and a couple pounds of decaf coffee at Peet's, got the car washed, bought gasoline.
Now I am trying to will myself to spend a couple of hours on sorting / filing / discarding in and around the home office, before letting myself collapse in the armchair for the evening.
