lose some, win some?

I just heard from zteph that they don't want to buy 2 of my wardrobes after all. On the good side, this means I don't have to get the wardrobes cleared out today, or worry about the timing of me picking up my car vs. them coming to pick up the wardrobes.
On the bad side, it means I need to get cracking on selling them somewhere else. So far, no responses to the sign I put up downstairs, but I suppose I should put another sign near the mailboxes (not the officially sanctioned posting site, but more conspicuous).
And I should probably put an ad on craigslist. *sigh*
Also: my neighbors who came to look at the place yesterday seemed quite interested. Ironically, they would prefer a later move date, and apparently have been telling ppm for weeks that they are interested in a larger unit -- who knows whether it was some profit-maximizing machination or just incompetance that it took them so long to hook us up -- but of course at this point I've got all my arrangements made (and paid for) so it's too late for me to stay here an extra month, even though that *would have been* much more convenient. Bah.
All in all, despite my anxiety about the temp housing foo, it will still be good to be out of here and not have to deal with those people any more, ever again.
