Unfiltered, barely processed, hasty, raw data, pictures of the latest condo interest are here.

I'm (once again) on the verge of making an offer. Opinions, thoughts, questions welcomed!

Hmmm. Well, I don't see anything wrong with it. I know that doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement, but being totally honest, I think it looks very reasonable and like a decent place to live, even if I'm not overwhelmed with its charm. One must live *somewhere* after all, and I think that with your stuff in it, it will be homey and have all the character a place should have. Do you think you'll make enough use of the outdoor area to pay for that? You know the cats will go bananas for that.

*shrug*

Well, I don't think the pictures are very good. But it may also just be that charm is in the eye of the beholder :)

Do keep in mind that I'd be planning to replace beige carpet with wood floors.

And, hard to say exactly how much use I'd make of the outdoor space, but some -- and I will enjoy being able to put plants in front of my windows :)

Last and only perhaps least -- this is not one of the more expensive places I've considered. I think it is cheap because people don't like ground floor?

If it's a safe neighborhood, ground floor is kind of a bonus, imo.

I like it better than the previous place; the layout looks nice and it's less cave-like somehow ... wood floors will help a lot.

Being obsessed with tile at the moment, the bathroom counter and the kitchen backsplash caught my eye. :)

Yeah, I never know how paranoid I ought to be, but it feels pretty safe.

I particularly like the light in the place, which does not come through at all in the pictures.

And yes, there is some nice tile -- although visibly installed by an amateur, and apparently bought at a remnant sale, as each of the two bathrooms have a combination of tile that doesn't quite match :/ Still, that's better than if they picked something I hated!
